Position Overview Role: Locum Tenens Interventional Cardiologist Location: Near Lewis, CO Start Date: December 27, 2024 End Date: Ongoing opportunities may be available beyond this date Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, on-call, and clinic coverage Key Responsibilities Procedures: Perform scheduled and emergent interventional cardiology procedures, including inpatient consults, inpatient study readings, and some clinic visits depending on assignment duration. Patient Volume: Expected daily admissions range from 4-6, primarily adult and geriatric populations. On-Call Requirements: Weekday night call and 24-hour weekend call coverage; on-call time includes handling call-backs as necessary. EMR: Use of EPIC, with required online and onsite training modules prior to start. Schedule Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hourly rate), 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night call rate with 2.5 gratis hours) Weekends: Saturday and Sunday, 24-hour call from 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, with 8 gratis hours per day Required Qualifications Board Certification: Interventional Cardiology (required) Licensing: Active Colorado license or IMLC LOQ at time of submission DEA Certification: Required and must be active for the entire duration of the assignment Experience: At least 2 years of post-fellowship experience Background: Strong preference for a clean malpractice and background record, with a self-inquiry NPDB report required at the time of submission Credentialing and Training Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 45-60 days (temporary privileges may be available) EMR Training: Completion of online training modules prior to onsite training, which is scheduled for the provider s first day if all modules are completed Travel and Accommodation Support Lodging: Reimbursement based on actual expense, capped at 1.5 times the GSA rate Mileage: Reimbursed at IRS Standard Rate Application Requirements To apply, please provide: An up-to-date CV including locums history Current contact information NPI and license numbers Background or malpractice documentation Any available references Your availability and expected monthly shifts If you re ready for a rewarding locum tenens assignment where your expertise in interventional cardiology can make a difference, apply now using reference Job ID .
