UT Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a skilled Urology Physician with robotics experience to join our team in Athens, Texas. This full-time position provides a balance of outpatient and inpatient care, offering the opportunity to practice advanced robotic-assisted urologic procedures while managing a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and have experience with robotic surgery.
Requirements:
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Urology.
- Robotics experience required (Da Vinci Robotic platform preferred).
About the Position:
- Patient Load: 20-25 patients per day (outpatient & inpatient combined)
- Surgical Volume: 1- 5 surgical patients per week (robotic and non-robotic cases)
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Call Schedule: 10 days per month and 1 weekend

About UT Tyler School of Medicine:
The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Its mission is to train future healthcare professionals to embrace responsibility for the unique needs of rural and hard-to-reach communities and populations, particularly those in East Texas.
