Job Details:
• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team contributing professional nursing knowledge and skills
• Provide and manage care to patients through application of the nursing process
• Care for general medical surgical patients including renal, transplant, and urology patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Work every other or 3rd weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited to 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Required to float across all campuses including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran
• Navy blue scrubs required
• BLS certification required
• Iowa nursing license required
• Medical surgical experience with renal, urology, and transplant care required
• At least one travel contract completed within previous 12 months required
• Clinical interview required with 405 area code
• Must provide work history, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, required certifications, and supervisory reference from within 2 years
