Job Description

The facility, located just 45 minutes from Tyler in East Texas, is seeking a GI physician to work collaboratively with the current general surgeons and assist with reestablishing our GI service line.

The incoming GI will be the primary provider for scopes within the community, and will be taking over for a physician retiring in April 2025.

The facility call requirements Call schedule: 10 days/month (includes 1 weekend) the facility and surgery days ERCP is not required but a plus The ideal physician enjoys living and practicing in a rural community Generous compensation package offered to include base salary guarantee, wRVU bonus, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, student loan repayment assistance, along with stipends for early commitment while in training Community: Palestine is located 45 miles from neighboring Tyler, and 2 hours to both Dallas and Houston Service area 100k Regional airport with several airlines for convenience
