A health services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensedChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their growing Inpatient team in the Bronx.In this role, theChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for theevaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients under 18 years of age whose primary diagnosis is a psychiatric disorder. About the Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Saturday and Sunday Hours: 8:30am to 10:30pm (28 hours a week) Setting: Inpatient Responsibilities: TheChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for: Admission and discharge of patients, including psychiatric examination, evaluation and assessment Facilitatinggroup/family education and therapy Ordering suicide precautions Providingtreatment of children and adolescents, including individual, supportive, behavioral, cognitive and insight oriented therapy Ordering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providers Performing first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissions Performingother duties, as needed Qualifications: 1+ year of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychiatry after fellowship Licensed to practice in the State of New York Board Eligible Certified inChild & Adolescent Psychiatry Valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI) Valid Federal Narcotics Number (DEA Number) Enrolled in CMS and remain an unconditional participating provider in the Medicare and Medicaid OPRA programs Your privacy is important to us.
