Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Tule River Indian Health Center

Compensation: $80/hour + Travel Support
Tule River Indian Health Center, Inc. (TRIHCI) is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide high-quality, culturally competent care to patients of all ages. This is an opportunity to serve Native American and underserved communities while delivering holistic primary care, prevention, and chronic disease management.
What You ll DoDeliver comprehensive primary care across the lifespan (infants, children, adults, and elders)
Conduct health assessments, physical exams, screenings, and preventive care visits
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Prescribe medications, immunizations, and therapeutic interventions
Provide health education, counseling, and anticipatory guidance to patients and families
Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health, and community health staff to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Refer patients to specialists and follow up on care plans
Participate in quality improvement and team-based care initiatives
Master s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (FNP program)
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
Active, unrestricted California NP license with furnishing number
DEA registration (Schedule II V)
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
2 5+ years of primary care experience preferred
Experience with Native American or underserved populations highly desirable
Valid California Driver s License
Current First Aid/CPR (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
Must pass background check, drug test, and physical
