Obstetrics and Gynecology Sonographer

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleShifts are scheduled as 5x8-hour days (08:00 - 16:30) with requirements for every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. Floating within the specialty and related areas may be necessary.
Job DescriptionThe Obstetrics and Gynecology Sonographer will perform ultrasound examinations, engaging in various obstetric practices including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters, amniocentesis, and high-risk obstetric care.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed ultrasound examinations for obstetric patients.
- Utilize skills in fetal anatomical surveys and fetal echocardiograms.
- Implement management practices in maternal fetal medicine and handle multiple pregnancies.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and assist in patient care as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Certification from ARDMS in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
- Experience in managing patient ratios and familiarity with PACS and portable equipment.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- NRP certification is necessary.
