Position Overview:
The RN provides safe, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Responsibilities include:
Anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care
Demonstrating critical thinking and clinical judgment
Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegating and supervising staff based on skill and experience
Floating to other areas as needed
