Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Emergency Department position requiring a NC or compact license and CPI certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Care Center within a hospital environment
- Care for a diverse emergency patient population
- 12.5-hour shifts from 12:45 PM to 1:15 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Will provide emergency nursing care to a broad range of acute patients
- Documentation must be current and include complete certifications
- No Canadian SSNs will be accepted for this assignment
- Scrub or dress code requirements not specified
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an Emergency Department
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
- CPI or approved crisis prevention certification required for all ER units
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
