Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Midlothian, VA

Location: Midlothian, VA
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (Clinic + Hospital Coverage)

We are seeking a Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to provide coverage for a high-risk OB team. This role offers a collaborative environment with advanced fetal medicine services and a Level III nursery.

Schedule:

• Clinic: Mon Fri, 8:00a 4:15p

• Call: Weekday evenings + 24-hour weekend call

Responsibilities:

• Manage high-risk pregnancies ( 95% of practice)

• Perform advanced procedures: Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling, cerclage (preferred)

• Monitor pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restriction, genetic disorders, congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, and other maternal/fetal complications

• Provide inpatient coverage at hospital

• Collaborate with one other MFM physician and rotating NP

Practice Details:

• Average patients/day: 27

• Support staff: RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team

• Exam rooms: 3

• Ultrasound: Onsite GE 10

• EMR: EPIC & Viewpoint

Requirements:

• Board Certified / Board Eligible MFM

• Completed Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine

• Active VA License

• BLS required, AIUM Certification preferred

Travel & Expenses:

• Flight, hotel, rental car, mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rates
