This position is for a part-time Orthopedic Spine Surgeon in a private multi-specialty practice located in Sacramento, California. The surgeon will consult with patients, perform spine surgeries, interpret diagnostic tests, and manage patient treatment plans in both office and surgery center settings. The role requires a California medical license, board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery, and fellowship training in Spine Surgery with flexible scheduling and negotiable compensation.

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice is a sub-specialty group consisting of expert spine surgeons, neurosurgeons, neurologists, pediatric neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, otolaryngologists, ophthalmologists, urologists, and pain medicine physicians. Together, they work to manage injuries of the musculoskeletal system and ensure patients receive the best treatment possible.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new spine surgeon will see patients in an established office and surgery center. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment
- perform necessary surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries or symptoms
- examine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
- obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis
- provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients
- monitor patients conditions and progress
- evaluate patients conditions and progress as necessary
The full details of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the physician.
Please note that this practice also has an office in East Bay and the physician will be asked to work occasional shifts in that location. The details of this are negotiable and it is not a significant commitment. If desired, additional shifts for additional compensation (with travel expenses covered) can be provided in South Bay.
REQUIREMENTS:
