American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with current ARRT (CT) certification and BLS for a night shift position serving all age groups.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital CT unit covering outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings
- Serves pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations; neonate and infant experience preferred
- Patient care may include NICU and PICU cases
- Procedures include CT scans with contrast; experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred
- Uses PACS for imaging and Epic EMR for charting; prior Epic experience required
- Night shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4x9.5 hour shifts, 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM
- Responsibilities include performing CT exams for a wide range of patient populations and clinical scenarios
- Candidates should be flexible with scheduling; zero tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Must be able to start IVs; biopsy experience is a plus
- Direct patient care in high acuity and critical care environments may be expected
- No local rates apply due to the mileage restriction
- Active ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience required
- Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients required; neonate and infant experience preferred
- Outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU experience required; NICU and PICU experience preferred
- Familiarity with PACS and administering contrast required
- Epic EMR experience required
- License required if applicable
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
