Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Rock Island, Illinois (Quad Cities region) – Easy access to Moline, Bettendorf, and Muscatine
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (OR); must be willing to float to nearby campuses as needed
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Call: 1-2 call shifts per week
• Weekend Rotation: Every 5th weekend
• EMR System: EPIC
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1970-$2110

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois; Iowa RN license required or willingness to obtain
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
• Ability to float between healthcare facilities within the same discipline
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Submission requirements: Updated resume/work history, recent skills checklist (within 1 year), RN license verification, required certifications, 1 supervisory reference, and proof of taxable address

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring proper patient preparation, intraoperative support, and post-operative recovery
• Float to other local campuses (Moline, Bettendorf, Muscatine) as needed to support clinical staffing needs
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations according to the nursing schedule
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC EMR system
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory healthcare standards
