Southern Vermont - A Mental Health Facility in Southern VT has an immediate opening for a full time, adult inpatient Psychiatrist. The ideal candidate would also have an interest in performing ECT, with the possibility of starting a trans-cranial magnetic stimulation program (rTMS) also a consideration. The position offers a comprehensive salary and benefit package. The patient volume averages between 8 and 10 inpatients per day, with about 30 minutes spent with each patient daily. Call is 1/10 during the week, and minimal (paid) weekend &, holiday call days per year are required. Additional call is available and paid on a per diem basis.Located in Southeastern Vermont, this facility is nestled in the Connecticut River Valley at the base of the Green Mountains.
