Job Summary (List Format):

- Position: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse – Night Shift
- Start Date: Open
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years ER nursing experience
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Clinical Skills Required:
- General and Non-Trauma Emergency Department (Adult/Pediatric)
- Pediatric Emergency Department
- Experience in STEMI and Stroke Certified facilities
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Arterial line and central line care/management
- Blood product administration
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion
- Continuous IV and procedural sedation; IV vasopressors
- CVA, ICP monitoring, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury
- Ortho-trauma, head injury, TBI, near drowning
- CPAP/BiPAP management
- ABG interpretation
- Management of gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations
- Isolation precautions and triage
- Other Requirements:
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with application
- No RTO allowed during first two weeks; max 3 days RTO during contract
- Must be willing to work holidays
- Submitted RTO cannot be changed except to cancel requested time
- 13-week contract
