Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a pediatric unit position with night shifts, requiring a NJ or compact license and pediatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a pediatric unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Every other weekend is required
- Block scheduling is not permitted
- Required to float between five hospitals within skillset based on needs
- Care for pediatric patients as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a different pay rate
- All requested time off must be submitted with initial application; changes are not accepted after submission
Requirements
- Active NJ or compact RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Minimum of two years pediatric nursing experience required
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
- First-time travelers are accepted
