Position Highlights:

- Patient Volume: Approximately 27-28 patients per shift
- Facility Size: 11 beds in the emergency department

Schedule & Coverage:
- Shifts: 24-hour physician coverage with 12-hour shifts, plus 10 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage daily
- Holiday Coverage: Required for major holidays, including New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
- Specialty Support: Includes 24/7 lab, radiology, and surgery support services (cardio-thoracic, general, orthopedic, vascular)
- Admissions: No inpatient admission duties required
Requirements:
- Licensing: Must be licensed in Oklahoma
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required for primary care-trained physicians; EM-trained physicians exempt from certification
- Board Certification: Board eligibility or certification in Emergency Medicine required
- Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 30-60 days for a clean application
- Privileges: Hospital/surgery center privileges are required; temporary privileges available
