We’re looking for a Physical Therapist to take on a full-time role with an outpatient clinic in Toms River, NJ. You will help patients move better, feel better, and stay active—whether they are recovering from an injury or managing long-term conditions. Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA.
  • Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license required to start the position.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in high-volume outpatient settings preferred.
  • Comfort with productivity expectations of approximately 1.8–2.2 patients per hour and managing 18–20 patients per day.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary clinics and to supervise/support aides as needed.
  • Willingness to work the posted days and hours, including rotating Saturdays about once per month and potential 4x10 schedule at some locations.

Schedule and Clinic Details:

  • Typical schedule examples: Mon/Wed/Fri 8:00 AM–6:00 PM or 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; Tue/Thu 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 9:00 AM–2:00 PM.
  • Rotating Saturdays approximately once per month, typically 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
  • Some clinics offer a 4x10 schedule (commonly off Tuesday or Wednesday).
  • Clinic patient load about 18–20 patients per day with productivity expectations of 1.8–2.2 patients/hour (up to 3 during peak).
  • Support staff typically includes full-time aides (generally 2 aides per 3 therapists; fewer at smaller clinics).
  • Multidisciplinary clinic environment including chiropractic, occupational therapy, and acupuncture, with physical therapy as primary focus.

  • Clear advancement path into Clinic Director and Regional Director roles. Regional Directors typically oversee 6–8 clinics.
