Overview:
Come join one of the most innovative pediatric practices in New Hampshire! A well-established, family-centered pediatric practice in the beautiful Seacoast region of NH is seeking a full-time Pediatric Psychiatrist to join its interdisciplinary care team. This role focuses on delivering fully integrated, high-quality behavioral and medical care to children and young adults from infancy through age 22.
You will collaborate closely with primary care providers, nursing staff, care managers, and behavioral health clinicians to support comprehensive and coordinated care.
Job Responsibilities:Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric patients (ages 0 22)
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with complex psychiatric conditions
Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
Provide weekly Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) caseload consultation to behavioral health care managers
Offer telephonic and electronic psychiatric consultation to primary care providers regarding treatment planning and patient care
Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Flex between outpatient and inpatient settings as needed
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Psychiatry
Experience with Collaborative Care Management (CoCM) or liaison psychiatry preferred
Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
Passion for pediatric and adolescent mental health care
Regular office hours
No call required
