MedSurg RN - Night 4x12-Hour Shift

Schedule4x12 Night shift (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced MedSurg RN to join our team in a critical care step-down unit, focusing on providing exceptional, evidence-based care. The MedSurg RN will be responsible for managing patients with continuous monitoring needs and will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary approach.
Responsibilities- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg patients.
- Administer and titrate medications via IV as needed.
- Perform cardiac monitoring, including interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Manage airway support including BIPAP and non-invasive airway management.
- Provide high-quality patient care with a focus on pulmonary patients.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Minimum of 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience required.
- New York State license in hand is mandatory for submission.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is a hard requirement.
- Experience in arterial line management and vasopressor titration is required.
