Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:5 (up to 6 patients on nights and weekends)
• Minimum 3 weekends required in a 6-week period
• Possibility of floating to other units depending on hospital needs
• Possibility of being placed on call
• 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Ambulatory and Med/Surg experience preferred, telemetry experience required
• Must be comfortable with pediatric population
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS (PALS certificate required before start)
• Professional scrubs in any color required
• Meditech charting system experience
• Call-in policy: If traveler calls in for a shift, must pick up another shift to make up for absence
• Maximum 7 days requested time off, must work 1 of 3 holidays if RTO during holiday period
• 12-hour orientation required
• Up to 8 hours of modules must be completed within 1 week of signing
• Primary nursing responsibilities including vitals and phlebotomy
• Work with limited resources in 78-bed facility

This short-term acute care facility operates 78 staffed beds providing comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community. The facility features a Med/Surg unit with 26 beds serving a diverse patient population including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. The facility maintains modern equipment including Alaris IV pumps, telemetry monitoring, and specialized medical devices to support quality patient care.
