Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Alternating day and night shifts with primary placement on one shift
• 12-hour shifts with 1:3 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required
• May float to PCU assignments in the ICU as needed
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including CKD, ESRD, DMII, CHF, COPD, GIB, and post-operative conditions
• Manage patients with long-term ventilators and tracheostomies
• Use Pyxis medication system and Cerner documentation system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• 2 years of nursing experience required (may consider less based on experience)
• First-time travelers accepted
• Alaska nursing license required prior to start
• Must live minimum 100 miles from facility
• Modules completed onsite during orientation (4-5 hours, billable)
