We are currently seeking dedicated Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians for an exciting locum tenens opportunity. This position is ideal for board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine Physicians or Residency-trained Pediatricians with experience in high-volume emergency departments. Position Overview:

• Position Type: Locum Tenens
• Duration: 3 months, with potential for ongoing extensions
• Annual ED Volume: 46,000+ visits
• Coverage:
  • 45 hours/day of physician coverage
  • 52 hours/day of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage
• Facility Features:
  • 40 private ED rooms
  • First sensory-friendly Pediatric ED in the region

Qualifications:

• Board Certification/Eligibility:
  • Pediatric Fellowship-trained Emergency Medicine Physicians
  • Residency-trained Pediatricians with high-volume ED experience
• Licensure:
  • Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas
• Status:
  • Independent Contractor (1099)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a busy, high-volume emergency department
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, APPs, and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Manage a wide range of acute pediatric cases with expertise and precision
• Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and treatment protocols in a modern and well-equipped facility
• Maintain clear and timely communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
