Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shifts in Arizona, requiring a compact or AZ RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes critically ill adults requiring intensive monitoring
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week travel assignment
- Duties include monitoring critically ill patients, administering medications, and responding to emergencies
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary ICU team
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Dress code and scrub color will be provided upon assignment confirmation
- Holiday coverage may be required based on the facility's needs
Requirements
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (RQI not accepted)
- Cannot have permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at a LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot hold full-time employment elsewhere
- Candidates must provide Social Security number, date of birth, and COVID vaccination card for consideration
