Travel RN Telemetry Job Details – Salem, MA

• Location: Salem, MA 01970 (Greater Boston area, Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Phippen 6/7 Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg (32 beds)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/14/2025 – End: 3/14/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,780 - $1,910
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Charting System: EPIC EHR
• Floating: Required to float to similar units as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Proficiency in neuro assessment and telemetry monitoring
• Ability to interpret and respond to telemetry strips accurately
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to float to other medical-surgical or telemetry units as needed

Travel RN Telemetry Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to orthopedic, neuro/surgical, and medical overflow patients
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry strips and cardiac rhythms promptly
• Conduct comprehensive neuro assessments and document findings in EPIC EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
