The Event Sales Specialist promotes and sells products inside major retail stores through live demonstrations and engaging customer interactions. This part-time role involves setting up product displays, maintaining professional presentations, and driving sales by providing personalized recommendations. The position requires strong communication skills, physical stamina, and the ability to use mobile apps for reporting and communication.
What You’ll Do:
Set up and maintain an engaging product display, kiosk, or demo station inside the store.
Organize products and promotional materials to create a clean, professional, and eye-catching presentation.
Proactively engage shoppers in a friendly, approachable manner to spark interest and promote featured products.
Conduct live product demonstrations and provide personalized recommendations tailored to customer needs.
Drive sales by delivering an exceptional customer experience with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Follow all store and company policies while maintaining a strong partnership with retail staff and management.
Complete reporting, photos, and performance tracking through designated mobile applications.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support marketing and sales initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
High School diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable talking to anyone and creating positive interactions.
Confident presentation abilities.
A positive, customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Must have a smartphone capable of running company apps for timekeeping, reporting, and communication.
