Required Skills:
- Active medical license in Washington (WA) and Oregon (OR), including WA DEA and OR DEA.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) within 5 years of residency.
- Extensive hospice experience for FM or IM candidates.
- Proven ability to provide comprehensive hospice and palliative care.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in telehealth technology.
- BLS certification.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience with telemedicine or telehealth services.
- Certification or specialized training in hospice and palliative care.
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient hospice settings.
- Multilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency hospice care experience.
- Prior work in a telehealth environment is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
- Must have Active WA and OR medical licenses and DEA licenses.
- Availability for scheduled telehealth coverage, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.
- Ability to work 8 hours daily, with OT after 9 hours.
- Flexibility to assume call responsibilities 4-6 nights per month and approximately one weekend per month, including shared call between Portland and Medford.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties, night admits, symptom management, and crisis visits.
- Reliable internet connection and telehealth equipment.
- This position is a locum role starting on 16/01/2026, offering $1.00/hour.
