Description
The National Security Sector within Leidos is seeking a Contract Manager with commercial contracting experience. The selected candidate will report to the Contracts Director and support all contract management activities for a diverse portfolio of contracts for Commercial Airports and DHS agencies.
Primary Responsibilities
- The candidate should have significant experience providing contract management and negotiation support for Commercial and Government contracts, including RFP analysis, hands-on proposal development and review, development of terms and conditions, coordination of appropriate internal reviews, obtaining various bonds, certs, strategic contract negotiation, and contract/task order management.
- Candidate will be responsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws.
- Candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts.
- Candidate must be pro-active, forward leaning, able to multi-task, prioritize work activities and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
- The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this role will frequently interact (written, oral, and face-to-face) with programs, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers.
- Participate in the review and analysis of RFPs to identify and mitigate contract risks.
- Review and negotiate Teaming Agreements, Nondisclosure Agreements, License Agreements and OCI Mitigation Plans.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with Commercial, State & Local contracting and Government contracting.
- Experienced with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts.
- Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems.
- Must have the ability to make sound business decisions, handle multiple contractual activities with potential short turn-around time, and work independently as well as part of a team.
- The Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills to include well developed analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- The candidate must possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to identify and mitigate contract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with Leidos policy and procedures.
- The Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
