We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee large-scale civil and sitework projects. This role involves managing field crews, ensuring project execution aligns with safety and quality standards, and liaising with clients. Construction Superintendent Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor Foremen and field teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions to mitigate delays.
- Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
Construction Superintendent Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years in construction management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with large-scale civil and sitework for commercial projects.
- Previous experience in retaining wall projects is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (OSHA 30-Hour, Certified Construction Manager, LEED AP) are a plus.
Construction Superintendent Skills & Abilities:
- Strong background in earthwork and civil site conditions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capability to manage multiple projects.
Construction Superintendent Travel Requirements:
- Will primarily work on construction sites with potential exposure to various weather conditions.
- Required to work extended hours, including weekends if needed.
- Up to 40% national travel required.
