Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient rehab experience for a travel assignment in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an inpatient rehab therapy department
- 24-bed unit with an average caseload of 4 to 5 patients per therapist
- All day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Therapists work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation
- Unit uses typical inpatient rehab gym equipment
- Therapist will perform standard rehab physical therapy procedures with a diverse patient population
- Supportive and experienced team environment with strong interdisciplinary relationships
- Flexible schedule provides a compensatory day off before and after weekend shifts
- Scrub color will be specified according to hospital guidelines
- Newer equipment and a positive, experienced staff are features of this unit
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient rehab experience
- Acute care experience preferred
- Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past year
