Locum Tenens Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician
Location: Near Bradshaw, West Virginia
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join a healthcare facility in the region near Bradshaw, WV. This is a locum tenens position with a high-priority need, offering flexibility and competitive hourly compensation.
Position Details:
- Start Date: January 2025
- Shift Type: Varied
- Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts (8 AM - 8 PM or 8 PM - 8 AM)
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- On Call: Not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care in a facility with an annual volume of approximately 10,000 patients
- Work in a 9-bed emergency department, including 4 fast-track bays
- Collaborate with intermittent APP coverage
- Respond to floor codes as backup for hospitalists
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (Highly Preferred)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in Emergency Medicine
- Virginia Medical License required
- BLS, ACLS certifications required (ATLS, PALS needed if not Emergency Medicine board certified)
- COVID-19 Vaccination required
- Must have a clean background with no malpractice history
