Location: Columbus, OH

About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43085!

Position: Registered Nurse – ICU (Night Shift) - AUTO OFFER

We are currently seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment starting April 6, 2026. This role is ideal for nurses experienced in high-acuity cardiac and critical care environments.

Schedule:

  • Night Shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

  • Every other weekend required

  • No on-call requirement

Patient Ratios:

  • 1:1 – 1:2

Patient Population:
Adult patients with complex cardiac and critical care conditions including:

  • Acute coronary syndrome (ACS)

  • Acute myocardial infarction (MI)

  • Cardiogenic shock

  • Decompensated heart failure

  • Post-cardiac intervention patients

  • TAVR and other cardiac procedures

Clinical Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Advanced cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management

  • Management of ventilated patients and ventilator settings

  • Administration and titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips

  • Arterial line, central line, and PICC line management

  • Blood product administration

  • Interpretation of ABGs and ECGs

  • Care of patients requiring BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and ventilatory support

  • Administration of continuous IV sedation and emergency medications

Additional Details:

  • Nurses may float to other units within the organization as needed

  • Orientation provided prior to assignment start

  • Multidisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience

  • Epic charting experience required

  • Previous travel experience preferred but not required

Required Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA)

  • ACLS (AHA)

  • NIHSS
