We are currently seeking two experienced Interventional Cardiologists for a locum tenens position located near Wayland, MI. Position Details: Job Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Location: Near Wayland, MI Dates of Coverage: January 2025 - June 2025 (with possible extension) Shift Schedule: Seven days on, seven days off from 7 AM to 5 PM (Monday to Thursday) with 24-hour call coverage from Friday to Sunday. Number of Positions Needed: 2 Responsibilities: Provide inpatient coverage for weekday STEMI calls. Assist with rounding and consults during the week (Monday - Thursday). Manage inpatient procedures and support STEMI cases on weekends. Supervise two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during rounding. Requirements: Board Certification: Required State License: Required (can consider candidates who need to obtain a license) ACLS Certification: Required Experience: Proven experience in Interventional Cardiology. Key Information: Patient Demographics: Primarily adult and geriatric patients. Procedures Involved: Balloon Angioplasties Coronary Angioplasty Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Heart Catheterization Coronary Angiograms Average Patient Load: Approximately 6 consults per day Daily rounding of about 24 patients Average of 3 procedures per day Call Responsibilities: 24-hour call from Friday to Sunday.
