Responsibilities and Duties- Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical care during scheduled blocks
- Perform both routine and complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond promptly to emergent cases and intraoperative consultations
- Maintain accurate and timely operative and patient care documentation
- Adhere to hospital protocols and quality assurance standards
Additional Information- Active Virginia medical license required
- Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
