Practice Details:

• Shifts and Coverage:
  • Call Coverage: This position requires you to be on-call, handling emergency surgical cases as needed.
  • Holidays: Coverage is required for major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
  • Patients Per Shift: The exact patient load will be determined, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality surgical care.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Must be board-certified in General Surgery.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Licensing: Must be licensed in Texas. Please note that there is no reimbursement for licensing costs.
• Privileges: Hospital or surgery center privileges are not required for this position.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 30 days, with temporary privileges available to expedite the process.
