This locum tenens Trauma Surgeon role in South Carolina requires providing trauma coverage at a large, 500+ bed Level 2 trauma center operating at Level 1 standards. The surgeon will manage inpatient rounds, trauma consults, and emergency surgeries for both adult and pediatric patients, participating in a rotating call schedule. Required credentials include an active South Carolina medical license and DEA registration, with experience handling blunt and penetrating trauma as well as ICU bedside procedures.
