The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner provides critical support in a Level II Trauma Center, assisting in approximately 10-11 heart surgeries and other thoracic cases monthly. Responsibilities include daily rounds, writing post-operative notes, and managing follow-up clinics for cardiac patients. Must have substantial cardiovascular surgical assist experience and expertise in EVH using Maquet Hemopro 2 and EMR documentation with Cerner Care B and SurgiNet.
