Travel support is provided, and the setting includes an adult and geriatric population using Epic EMR in a well-established clinical team environment.
Opportunity Overview
Outpatient Hematology Oncology opening in Northern Indiana beginning March 2026. This is a long-term assignment running through March 2027. The role supports a new service line and requires a confident HemOnc physician who is comfortable managing a full outpatient caseload.
Schedule and Setting
- Monday through Friday 8a to 4:30p
• No call
• No nights or weekends
• Adult and geriatric population
• Approximately 30 patients per day
• Epic EMR
Clinical Requirements
- HemOnc board certification
• Active Indiana license
• BLS
• Management of VAD and CV catheters
• Bone marrow biopsies
• Ordering labs, imaging, blood bank
• Prescribing and directing chemotherapy administration
• Participation on a tumor board
Coverage Details
- Outpatient only, no hospital rounding
• Consistent Monday through Friday daytime schedule
• Travel support provided for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage
• Credentialing timeline: 60 days with active Indiana license, 90 days without
