What You Can Expect as a Pediatric Feeding Therapist:
Work with pediatric patients with feeding difficulties
Patient demographics will include treating patients 0-18 years old with feeding/dysphagia needs and as well as a variety of developmental and neurological diagnosis.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
- Clinic Hours: 7AM-5:30PM; schedule to be determined
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree from an accredited speech therapy or occupational therapist program.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
- Occupational Therapist:
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy in state of practice
- Speech Language Pathologist:
- One of the following:
- Speech Language Pathologist Provisional Permit to practice in the state of Idaho OR Speech Language Pathologist License to practice in the state of Idaho AND Certified ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- One of the following:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
- Preferred Qualification: 1 year of pediatric feeding therapy experience
