Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology unit night shift role requiring NC or compact licensure and chemotherapy certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital setting on a combined Oncology/Women's unit
- Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Assignment is for 13 weeks
- Cares for oncology patient population
- Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and providing specialized oncology nursing care
- Professional references and licensure verification must be submitted
- Facility does not provide housing expense support
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent oncology experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
- Chemotherapy (ONC) certification required for all Oncology RNs
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- Copies of certification documents required
