Job Overview
Teknikor Contracting is seeking a Licensed Industrial Plumber to join our nationally traveling field operations team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial process piping systems. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial process plumbing and piping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems and perform timely, effective repairs
- Ensure full compliance with local plumbing codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety standards
- Operate and maintain plumbing tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments
- Conduct leak tests and inspect piping systems for safety and reliability
- Collaborate with electricians, millwrights, and other trades for seamless project execution\
- Assist in mentoring apprentices or junior plumbers on best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Plumbing License (MA or RI preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in an industrial plumbing environment
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
- Skilled with plumbing tools, diagnostic systems, and test equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills
- Able to lift heavy tools and materials, work in confined spaces, and remain on feet for extended periods
- Reliable team player with strong attention to detail and safety
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as required
- Valid driver's license
