RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative patients involving standardized procedures
• Assess needs of patients with a wide variety of illnesses and administer medications
• Operate special equipment and respond appropriately to emergency situations
• Follow guidelines including doctor's orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures
• Provide nursing care in various clinical areas requiring full range of professional nursing proficiency from admission through discharge planning
• Minimum one year of experience within a critical care setting (PACU, ICU, or ED) required
• Valid RN license from any state acceptable (Arizona license not required)
• Must have and maintain valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications throughout employment
• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start
• Orientation provided every 2 weeks
• Shared contractor housing available based on availability (no family or pets allowed)
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start
• COVID & FLU exemptions may be accepted after declination form is submitted

This JCAHO accredited health center provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The 73-bed capacity hospital offers comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery and urological procedures. Approximately 49% of the surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory surgical procedures. The facility maintains a diverse medical staff including surgeons, general medical officers, specialists, and a comprehensive nursing staff.
