The Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in coastal Charleston, SC is seeking pediatric anesthesiologists. The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology is expanding rapidly due to the recent opening of our new Shawn Jenkins Children s Hospital and Summey Medical Pavilion Pediatric Ambulatory Surgical facilities. US News and World Report ranks 6 children s specialties nationally including a ranking for the congenital cardiac program. Shawn Jenkins Children s Hospital is ranked the Children s hospital in the state Some adult care responsibilities are expected with these positions.
Job Requirements:
- American Board of Anesthesiology Certified or Board Eligible is required
- Board certification in the subspeciality of pediatric anesthesiology or recent completion of ACGME fellowship in pediatric anesthesia
- Additional advanced training or experience beyond fellowship is welcome but not required
- Eligible for South Carolina licensure
- Research experience and interests are preferred but not required
