HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Description & Requirements

• Number of Beds – 11 ORs
• Shift for this position – Three twelve-hour shifts
• Call Expectation – Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period)
• Patient Ratios – 1:1
• EMR - Epic
• Typical Procedures:
  • Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)
  • Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics
• On Call: Call will vary from one month to the next. Typically it is 5-6 shifts every 8 weeks

Must Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of OR RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting - Patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field - AK RN License - BLS and ACLS Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - Experience as a scrub and circulator - CNOR - EPIC Experience - Travel Experience
