Hematology/Oncology opportunities in New MexicoPractice locations: Roswell and CarlsbadPosition Details: Seeking Hematology/Oncology physician for large friendly practice Full-time, permanent position 4-day workweek H1/J1 sponsorship available Diagnose and provide medical treatment for cancer, solid tumors, and benign and malignant blood disorders. On in-patient and out-patient basis, write and administer chemotherapy orders, perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, review smears and refer patients for radiation oncology and surgery services as needed. On an in-patient basis, evaluate oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications, deliver chemo-infusion, and provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals. Requirements: M.D. degree in medicine, completion of 3-year residency in Internal Medicine, completion of a 3-year fellowship in hematology-oncology. Compensation above national average plus bonus structure, complete benefits package.Additional Details: Multispecialty medical group consisting of four clinics and a staff of over 150 serving Southeastern New Mexico.
