What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter potential threats and/or unauthorized activities.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security-related breaches encountered during patrols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed in accordance with site protocols.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
