The Maintenance Project Engineer I CEM supports a major change initiative focused on implementing maintenance and production systems at a cement manufacturing plant. The role involves coordinating project activities, coaching supervisors, promoting safety, and ensuring successful implementation of maintenance standards and lean manufacturing practices. Candidates require a bachelor's degree in maintenance engineering or related fields, 1-3 years of plant maintenance experience, and skills in project management and CMMS software.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The AIM implementation/revitalization Breaking the reactive cycle is a change process with a substantial impact on the manufacturing of cement and all related departments. The success of the project is directly related to the effort and commitment of the client to support the change process actively. The Task Force as part of the AIM project organization is one essential condition to achieve the project targets, supporting and coaching in the implementation of the systems and laying a solid foundation for continuous improvement once the project is completed.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Education: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Maintenance Engineering or related discipline
Required Work Experience: 1 to 3 years in plant maintenance position in a heavy industry, preferably in the area of management systems, quality systems, project management.
Required Training/Certifications: Knowledge, training, or experience in Lean manufacturing highly desired. Project management is desirable.
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS (Maximo and SAP PM)
Travel Requirements: 20%

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Performing all duties in a safety conscious manner and being proactive in contributing to a safety culture
- Supporting the Project team members in the detail elaboration of the SIS (System Implementation Schedule)
- Promoting the sense of urgency in words and deeds
- Establishing constant and transparent communication with all the stakeholders
- Working and collaborating closely with the team members ensuring timely implementation of the activities of the SIS
- Communicating any deviation or symptom of constraint to the Task Force leader to correct the situation before it becomes a problem
- Providing effective coaching to supervisors and managers in the practical implementation of actions following maintenance processes standards
- Documenting of the processes and terms of reference to create the Maintenance & Production manual of the plant
- Motivating the team members to keep the momentum of the project during its entire implementation.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
