Job Opportunity: Physician - Emergency Medicine

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician, or an EM-experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to help expand our Holzer Health Programs in Gallipolis. This family-owned physician group practice focuses on providing high-quality hospitalist and emergency department services. Our physicians work within a supportive environment in a modern facility that prioritizes patient care and professional development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a busy 20-bed emergency department.
- Participate in a physician-led organization with a collaborative approach.
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 21,000/year in the emergency department.
- Work 12-hour shifts, with 24/7 physician coverage and 14 hours/day of APP coverage.
- Utilize Paragon EMR for efficient patient management.
- Support on-site administrative needs for smooth operations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine -OR- Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
- Minimum of 12 months/2,000 hours of employment experience in Emergency Medicine (excluding training).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Ohio medical license (in hand or in process).
- Current Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty.
- Clean malpractice & licensing records.
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
- Proof of COVID Vaccination status.
- Recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active).
