Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother Baby - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum position requiring C-section circulation and OB triage skills, with night shift availability.
Responsibilities
- Position based in a hospital Women's Center unit
- Care includes labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
- Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Responsible for the full spectrum of clinical nursing care in the LDRP setting using professional standards and organization policies
- Engages in patient and family education, assessment, planning, and evaluation of care
- Participates in interdisciplinary collaboration and unit performance improvement initiatives
- Maintains a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
- Adheres to communication guidelines to ensure continuity of care
- Required to report for lab testing within 24 hours of assignment commitment
- Compliance with background check and drug screening timelines is mandatory
Requirements
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact RN license required
- Minimum one year of nursing experience required
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- Must be able to circulate for C-sections
- Must have OB triage experience
