Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Monitor Technician to join a healthcare facility in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring, accurate interpretation of telemetry data, and timely communication of any abnormalities to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
• Interpret and identify arrhythmias and abnormal heart rhythms
• Notify nursing staff and physicians of any significant changes in patient status
• Maintain accurate documentation of cardiac rhythms and events
• Ensure proper functioning of monitoring equipment and troubleshoot issues
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team members
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Monitor Technician/Telemetry Tech
• Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmia interpretation
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
